From 1000 - 1400 we will be hosting our Bio-Blitz event where we hope to identify as many species as possible and check in on our wildlife on the Estate. Plus interactive nature sessions will be running throughout the day. 

The finer details:

1000 - 1050 - Pond station (Mill Lake) Find out what creepy crawlies live in the depths of our lakes!

1050 - 1130 Bug station (Mill Lake) Here we will use a large sweep net to find out what's living in the long grass.  

1145 - 1230 Bird station (Somerford Lagoon) Look through some binoculars to see what birds call Somerford Lagoon their home. 

1245 - 1330 Plant and Beaver station (near the rugby pitch) Learn more about our elusive beavers and have a closer look at some wonderful plants. 

1345 - 1400 Miss Mouse Hut Come back to the Miss Mouse Hut and let us know what you have found! 

No booking required. Feel free to stop by any of the stations during the day. Additional recording sheets will be available at the Activity Hub and Miss Mouse Hut throughout the day.
